Annie Donaghy

Acting Teacher

Hello, my names Annie and i’m an actor/ musician and writer from Yorkshire, currently in my third year of my degree in Acting and Contemporary theatre at East15. I’ve performed in productions both professional and amateur from a very young age and my love for it continues to grow, I’ve also been leading drama workshops and acting clubs for four years. As a performer i really believe in giving characters soul and moving the audience through truth and joy. I also really believe in the transformational power of theatre and how it can help people grow personally, and this belief is the grounding for my teaching  at Stadium. I adore creating a caring, fun and exciting environment so the students can feel free to express themselves as they learn. It’s been so brilliant to see the growth  in the students over the past year i’ve taught there; in their  team work, clarity, grounding and confidence, equipping them with skills that not only help them within their performances, but also in the outside world.

Lucy Bastable

Singing / Musical Theatre Teacher

Hi everyone! My name is Lucy and I’m the singing teacher at The Stadium. I’m a Scottish actress about to begin my final year at East 15 Acting School, having previously trained in musical theatre back in Glasgow. After spending my childhood in amateur dramatics, music and singing classes, I am a strong advocate for giving the same opportunities to kids today. I have spent many years teaching kids in different environments from sports clubs to music theory and it’s something I utterly love. Spending my Saturday mornings at The Stadium as the singing teacher has brought me so much joy and I look forward every single week to seeing the fabby kids grow more and more in confidence. I really believe in performing arts being such a vital part in childrens’ lives as it does much more for them than teach them to sing and dance. Aside from the performance skills we are teaching, it’s incredibly fulfilling to see them really come out of their shells and show off their wonderful wee personalities. They are a joy to teach and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them next!

It's a pleasure to be part of the team at the Stadium Theatre School!  I get the opportunity to pass all my skills and knowledge onto the talented and enthusiastic students.  I started at a very similar school when I showed an interest in Performing Arts.

I'm so excited to help the students grow in confidence and nurture their talent.
